“Going to the Masters was a dream come true, and
Fine Things provided the perfect package. I’m still
basking in the glow”. The accommodations were close
to the golf course, the badge pickup was very smooth
and our shuttle drivers were first class, catering
to our needs whenever we asked. I’m keeping Fine
Things’
phone number on hand
for future use.”

PROMOTIONAL & INCENTIVE PACKAGE EXAMPLES
-You are an auto dealer facing a tough market where your inventory is building
and margins sinking. Instead of cutting prices (and margins) to meet the
competition— you offer a lucky buyer a chance to win a dream trip to a “sold
out” sporting from Fine Things. You benefit from offering this promotion months
in advance, and every buyer during the period not only receives a fine
automobile—but a chance to fulfill his dream. (Note, the dealer also used a Fine
Things package to award to his best salesman.)
-You want to energize the sales force. You
award the top sales person with a VIP Package from Fine Things to be awarded at
the end of the quarter prior to the event. This allows 3 months of sales
meetings while excitement for the event heightens.
-You are a world-renowned record company, and want to release a new record “XLIII”.
You promote it by giving away Fine Things Super Bowl XLIII packages.
-Your casino wants to add regulars, and “cash” jackpots are not doing the job.
You add a “dream” package to a “impossible” sporting event to your promotional
mix and watch the income rise.
-You are having a tough time introducing your new product line to your
distributorship network, given the competition from a similar product. You offer
a Fine Things package as a benefit to the C.E.O.’s of your distributor network
for the best sales performance on the product. Every distributor, except one,
signs up.
-Your company gives annually to its favorite charity. Instead of cash, it
purchases a Fine Things Package to the World Series and donates this, which the
charity gives as a grand prize in a lottery that raises four times the amount of
the cost of the package.
-Your country just qualified for the World Cup in South Africa. The matches are a
continent away. You desire to attract clients to travel through your travel
agency to the matches. Your promotion offers a free Fine Things World Cup
South Africa Package to one of your lucky customers and your phone lines are jammed.
-Your bank president boss has a key client in his sights. You arrange with Fine
Things for your boss to golf with the C.E.O. in Augusta on Tuesday, watch the
Par Three Tournament and practice rounds on Wednesday, and walk through the
first two days of the Masters on Thursday and Friday with V.I.P hospitality (and
a last drink at Hooters). Your guest is meeting with the bank on Monday.
-Your Casino has a “million dollar man” that wants to go to the Super Bowl. You
fly him to Los Vegas on Thursday, and private jet him to Tampa late Saturday
night to be picked up with a limousine full of Crystal.
-Even non-profit institutions can benefit from such promotions. The Red Cross
reported a five-fold increase in blood donations in Virginia after they sent a
mailer to potential donors offering a Fine Things Package to the lucky donor.
