British Open 2010

The Open Championship, or simply The Open (typically referred to as the British Open outside the UK), holds a certain prestige all its own as the oldest of the four major championships in men's golf. It is also unique in that it is the only major held outside the USA. The Open is the third major to take place each year following The Masters and the U.S. Open and before the PGA Championship. The event rotates through nine historic links courses in the United Kingdom. The 2010 Open will take place at The Old Course, St. Andrews, Scotland. The return of the Open Championship to St. Andrews, "The Home of Golf" will mark the 150th anniversary of the British Open.
