The Midsummer Classic turns 81 in 2010, and Anaheim hosts the party. The game's greatest players will converge on Angel Stadium in July and we'll have your tickets to the All-Star spectacle. The 2010 season will mark the Angels 50th anniversary and the 45th season that the team has played in Angel Stadium. The game will be the third Midsummer Classic ever played in Anaheim and the first since July 11, 1989, when Bo Jackson of the Kansas City Royals led off the bottom of the first with an estimated 448-foot home run in his first All-Star at bat en route to earning Most Valuable Player honors in a 5-3 A.L. victory. Today’s baseball heroes will soak in the mystique and add another chapter during the 2010 MLB All-Star Game.
